The strength and power of coaching relates strongly to the level of openness between us. We commence the coaching relationship with a ‘contracting' discussion to establish the focus of the relationship and we talk about the desired results. Some might be:
¨ Preparing for a step-up or major organisational change ¨ To step back from the day to day to see a bigger picture ¨ To assist you to interpret events and the impact you have on others ¨ Testing objectives and planning to step-around the barriers ¨ Checking perceptions and views ¨ Reflecting and guiding
¨ Meeting to discuss the issues important to you. We can meet as frequently as we think appropriate, although we recommend a minimum of 4 one-to-one sessions are initially contracted for to really develop the relationship and produce solid benefits ¨ Liaising 'remotely' via 'phone and email when you need to ¨ Providing you with case study material and new articles to evaluate and analyse ¨ Guided reading/analysis of high quality & provocative texts ¨ Carrying out individual assessment tools and analysis, e.g. Strengthsfinder

Our fee for a full coaching session, which normally lasts between one and a half and two and a half hours; including all travel time to and from our meeting place, all preparation such as identifying text and material for the sessions, reading, reviewing the notes of previous sessions and telephone/email pre-work and follow-up is £425 plus reasonable expenses and travel costs (and any additional costs of purchasing assessment tools, books and materials).
Cancellations are charged at 50% if within a fortnight of the meeting and 100% if cancelled in the 7 days before we meet. We believe this fee rate compares favourably with other providers and reflects the productive and long-term relationship we have with our clients.

We love to bring out the best in people! Using Strengths-based and appreciative techniques and tools, not the familiar ‘deficit’ and problem-centred models, we will focus solely on your situations with the kind of attention and commitment that you rarely experience elsewhere. We will listen to you to understand who you are and the issues you have, what you think and how you experience your world. We will reflect back to you in a way that creates a real clarity and encourages you to use your strengths to optimum effect.
At an appropriate point in the programme you can consider a number of questions relating to the coaching relationship and the value it is delivering to you and your organisation.
In return, we will encourage you to stay committed to the coaching process. That means showing up for sessions, taking your own notes where appropriate and keeping any agreements we make during sessions. We encourage you to be open to the potential of coaching. That means contributing openly and honestly to the conversations we have. If something isn’t working we need to know. |
